Common Dimming Issues & Solutions
| Issue | Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Flickering | Incompatible dimmer type or minimum load not met | Use trailing-edge dimmer or add dummy load |
| Buzzing | Electrical interference from dimmer | Switch to LED-rated dimmer with proper shielding |
| Limited range | Dimmer minimum is too high for LED | Use dimmer with lower minimum setting (1-5%) |
| Drop-out | LED turns off before reaching minimum | Adjust dimmer calibration or use compatible dimmer |
| Pop-on | LED jumps to brightness instead of smooth start | Use soft-start dimmer designed for LEDs |
